Based On The Novel By Mary Shelley
Music By Jim DePriest
"Curiosity and a desire to learn the hidden laws of nature are among the earliest sensations I can remember. I, Viktor Frankenstein will pioneer a new way, explore unknown powers and unfold to the world the deepest mysteries of CREATION."

Frankenstein is so much more than just a scary story. It asks the never ending question "just because you can, should you?" Viktors creation only wants love and acceptance but when his own creator turns from him, he expresses the only emotion he has left, RAGE. Although this piece is best done with a script, it can be presented without and relies only on your creative approach to the presentation. Your kids will love this one!

OBSESSION
$75
Obession begins with a sea captain explaining the strange sight he witness in the polar regions. We then hear Viktor Frankenstein explaining his life long desire to bring new life from dead tissue. During the opener you can hear the lightning and thunder and finally the doctor scream "ALIVE" at the very end of the piece
“Curiosity and a desire to learn the hidden laws of nature are among the earliest sensations I can remember.”
To Gaze Upon The Creator
$75
The Creature is born and now Viktor turns with disgust from it and leaves it to die. The creature wonders off in search of compassion but finds nothing but people afraid and cruel. The final moment of the piece ends with a chime and low chord signifying the coming of death.
“There is love in me the likes of which you have never seen. THERE IS RAGE IN ME the likes of which should never escape. If I am not satisfied with one, I will indulge the other.”
RAGE
$75
The movement begins with big percussion and fast, loud, dissonate brass. This eventually give way to a restatement of the slower 2nd movement as the creature confronts Viktor. All this is observed by the captain of the boat who has been the narrator from the beginning. In his final line he says:
I asked the creature “Why do you weep for this man?”
“He was my father.” said the creature.
The show ends with Viktors lifeless body carried away by the creature while we hear the statement from the beginning.
“Curiosity and a desire to learn the hidden laws of nature are among the earliest sensations I can remember.”
“I AM Vicktor Frankenstein, and this was my obsession.”
